Philosophy

We moved coastside almost 3 years ago, fueled by the over-priced costs of the city and the desire for the refuge of space, scenery and inspiration. After decades in major metropolitan cities, we discovered that beyond the city, beyond the burbs, was something more —- simply put: more living.

In this newness, we found living off the grid could actually be a daily event. We had longed for the balance of life and living, and the place we escaped to on an occasional weekend could be our daily. So we committed.

Left Hand Lemonade (the pop-up shop) was born of the essence of coastal living with a global city filter. The name literally comes from watching so many day trippers waiting in a traffic cue after a day at the coast, anxiously waiting for that in between to turn left onto Route 1 towards home. I remember (vividly) that relief from getting away even for an afternoon and the desire to take a piece with me, both in spirit and reflection.

Coastside Cowboy is a collection inspired by an ex-city dweller who enjoys what the coast has to offer without the misgivings of city connectedness. It’s a surveyed, curated, constantly changing blend of who we are and who we long to be.

Take a bit of it back with you. Be inspired. Be connected. Elevate your modern experience. Because beyond the hustle is all that drives and inspires us. A little vintage, a little found, a little locally made and a little bit more. All of the moment. This collection reflects the constantly changing coastside that moves us.
